* New wool/yarn has arrived to continue the neverending afghan *
Does anyone else think about the yarn/wool thing? I never really know how to put it. I'm not american but I write yarn and yet, still, it doesn't quite roll off the tongue. Patons smoothie is so far from wool though! Acrylic all the way.
Speaking of wool though, the front part of the jumper is no longer in material presence aside from these three balls of wool. I ripped it all. Ladies, those that commented, I really took what you said on board, we've all been there and learning from our mistakes is one thing but admitting defeat is better in this case so I will be starting from scratch on this one!
This half term is lovely. The sun is shining. It's just me, Ruby and George. We've been to one of the parks Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I've had quite alot of backchat from my little lady this week but on the whole the days are meandering along in a positive and happy way.
Monday I was lucky enough to see this guy with Kate. Get his album, see him live, allow happiness into your life. His voice is beautiful.
Yesterday I did LOADS in the kitchen which kept the three of us amused for ages.
Offset with raw courgette 'pasta' and fresh pesto. We make this every now and then. And they always eat it.
Again this was all offset by making little fairy cakes with Ruby. She licked the bowl. Can you tell?
And Ruby ate this ALL (albeit on the basis she was allowed another cake)
