There have been a couple of benefits to really damaging my big toe! I've been sat on the sofa with my feet up the last couple of days and I can actually stand on it now which is ace. But, back to the benefits I have done an enormous amount of crochet, watched alot of TV, a couple of films and I haven't had to cook any dinners! It's like being on holiday! I do have a toe that looks like something out of a horror film but now it doesn't hurt as much it almost feels like it was worth it to enforce some downtime.
I am joking obviously.
Last night was spent watching episodes of Downton Abbey on netflix back to back. We'd completely missed this series when it was on TV and I'm really enjoying it. I much prefer watching series in binges, episode after episode, and I caught up on lots of granny a days. I wonder when I'll catch up. As soon as I get the two blanket borders I've got on at the moment I'm just going to get on top of the project again. Sometimes you just got to spend a few days getting back on track with these kind of things. Then it'll be back to one a day alongside my other projects.
I ripped out the border I'd tried out yesterday from the Johanna Blanket and I chose another from the book. This time number 46. I just thought I'd try another and then make my mind up whether to stick with the puffs but I much prefer 46 for this particular blanket.
I really love the colours on this blanket. Just a couple more sides to go and I shall block it this evening. Anyone else making an afghan or granny square blanket? Add your links below, I'd love to see it.
