Here are the squares I have made so far for the Make for Anyone Blanket that featured in issue 24 of Mollie Makes. I'm thinking 19X20 squares should cover a king size bed so I'm going to keep hooking. The trouble with making a huge project like this is knowing how much yarn to order and I'm mixing up the sirdar crofter shades and deviating from the original pattern as it is. ALAS the muslin shade in the sirdar calico edging the squares has sold out in alot of stores so I bulk buyed this week lest it run out completely.
I think realistically it's going to take me another couple of months to get this done. Above, is what I can make in a REALLY good sitting. That's three episodes of homeland and only eight squares. I have to stop starting big crochet projects! Take a look at Wink's Happiness Diagram, applicable for all craft projects. I am not quite at the low (yet) but I'm getting a little tired of how long it's taking. The next few weeks are ludicrously busy again so I'll barely be crocheting at all and will be seeing little development - let's see how it goes!
