A few weeks ago I got all enthusiastic in the garden centre and got loads of bulbs: crocuses, snowdrops and tulips mainly. What I didn't account for though was the amount of clearing of the beds I was going to have to do so they remain in the shed and hopefully I'll get them in over the weekend. I read bulbs are supposed to go in in September but I figure with all the crazy weather I can still plant them and hope for the best!
I'm getting a bit fed up of the local cats using one bed in particular as a litter tray - I picked up lots of the stuff yesterday. Blek. Any suggestions? I also can't believe how many empty snail shells there are. I really really have a thing about snails. I don't like and so picking up full or empty shells makes me shiver - I must have thrown out about 50 when I was out the other day. Again, blek. I'm not sure I'm really cut out for gardening.
Anyway fingers crossed I get some time to do it even if I am going to the Knitting and Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace. I am really looking forward to this show! I'm really hopeful there will be knitting machines out on display. I still haven't quite shifted my dream to have one.
Hope you all have a great weekend. Whatever you're doing, enjoy it!
