Jenny

I've been waiting for a quiet moment in the house to read your post as I knew I'd cry, as ever very beautifully written. I love the part about your dad not taking you to church.
My sister in law died a couple of years ago very sudden and in her thirties and she and us are not religious and since her death there is a part of me that wishes I could believe in God and therefore heaven as sometimes I think it would make her passing easier but at the end of the day she died after a long battle with alcohol and I keep telling myself that where ever she is, she is now at peace. And she is everywhere in things I see out and about in music I listen to in things I make. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her or are reminded of her. We told our oldest boy that she has gone to somewhere where she is no longer hurting and is happy it is so difficult for them to make sense of it all.
Try and take care of yourself and have extra hugs with the little ones
